The food is delicious, but (most) the waitresses are extremely slow and some are really rude!

This cafe has the best cream puffs far and wide🤗. There are also delicious homemade pies and cakes Service top. A visit there is definitely worth it.

Very well attended on Sundays when the weather is nice - I like to overlook the long waiting time here. The location is beautifully located under the basilica. Wait staff were friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the cream puffs because the previously ordered tarte flambée had simply taken too long. You could eat the tarte flambée, but unfortunately nothing tasted like "homemade" - maybe our palates are just too spoiled. Why only 2 stars? When it came to paying it was said "We only take cash". And that in the current time? Other restaurants or shops ask for card payments for hygienic reasons and is it not even possible here in 2020? I generally prefer to pay by card rather than cash - so I won't be seen again anytime soon. And if the card fees are too high for the operators: Cash costs more, maybe calculate again ...

Dream! Very tasty cream puffs. You sit very comfortably outside with a view of the basilica. Nice for a stopover by bike.

Stopover on our bike tour. Located directly opposite the Ottobeuren Benedictine monastery. In good weather you can sit outside very nicely, in bad weather also in the winter garden. Huge selection of delicious cream puffs. They are available in sweet, but also in savory and hearty. Otherwise, small breakfast and snack menu. On top of that, the service staff is really hard-working and committed and also gets along really well with many guests! Thank you for the great time with you! We'll meet Again!

Great ideas what you can do with cream puffs. Everyone will find something here, whether sweet or savory. It's worth a visit.

Pros: The shop is cozy and the service is very nice. Cons: Unfortunately, the waiting time was a bit long. For a 6 year old who only wants to eat 2 scoops of ice cream, 45 minutes is too long. Table wasn't clean.

Everything fits in there. Windbag the hammer! Because of the diversity you have to come back again and again. Great atmosphere. Lovely decorated. One sits there in the good room of the great-grandparents. The owner is so nice, I can only recommend passing by.

If you like cream puffs, you should definitely go there. Nice location in the middle of Ottobeuren. Even in summer it is nice to sit outside in the big square. Nice and fast service.

Less than expected. Food was not good, Hester’s with microwave. Cappuccino was horrible. Service was rude. I stay in ottobeuren many times a year and i don’t go to this restaurant. There are many other restaurants which have better food on the street.
